Same thing happened to the Argos on Labour Day.

I was out of the country, but if so even more reason to fire both Johnson and Jake Ireland.
So far the new commish has been quick and decisive with other decisions so one would think this is now past due?

I never considered them to be a playoff contender and I'm sure they truthfully didn't either. I don't see Collaros in their future plans, so they would be better off getting Golson some reps, and keeping Kilgore for insurance.

I believe they let Kilgore go in the first couple of weeks of the season.

Hey Tom, the Labour Day game is on You Tube, commercial free. Take time to watch and see it for yourself sir.

Difference being Argos weren't 0-8 at the time. In theory, they still had something to play for.

Ticats are still currently in the playoff hunt. When Ray returned from being injured again, what did they have to play for those last couple of games in 2016 ?

If you say so. Their chances of winning against either Winnipeg or Calgary, let alone both are slimmer than slim. As far as playing Ray goes, again, big difference. We really don't know what Barker and Milanovich had planned. Just because the traded for Willy last year does not necessarily mean he was the guy they would go with in 2017. I don't believe they expected Ray to return due to injury, not because he had fallen out of favour. ZC is benched while healthy. When did that ever happen with Ray?

Well if it was Jake we know he hasn't lost his touch for seeing things from a different angle than everybody else. But I was told by an official friend that it is a guy named Jim Harbin.

Happened a couple of times, in pretty important games when Ray played for Edmonton.

Are you talking about two playoff games in 2005 when Jason Maas came off the bench? I don't really recall Ray being "benched" otherwise while healthy.

They really didn't have any other viable options for the final two games of 2016. LeFevour wasn't going to be part of the future and Willy was injured. They still had Kilgore but I guess he had fallen out of favour too.

Posey's seven receptions for 104 yards and game-tying and game winning TDs earned him one of Shaw's CFL Three Top Performers of the Week. Well deserved.

I thought he was player of the game also, but TSN gave that to Ricky

Ray started and got benched for both playoff games but then started and won Grey Cup MOP. Shows how resilient he can be.
