    GAME THREAD: Winnipeg at Edmonton Saturday, September 30

    Edmonton has 21 players on their injured lists while Winnipeg has 3. After q 7-0 start Edmonton's 5 game losing streak started when its injured lists hit 20. Even then they only lost 33-29 to Winnipeg. Knowing how competitive Reilly is, the losing streak must be eating him up inside, so I expect him to be in overdrive. Coming off a bye week, those with minor nicks on the Edmonton roster should be in good shape, and with Edmonton playing at home, I'll give them the nod, but I expect it will be close as the Bombers are healthy and have the highest scoring offence in the league.

    I don't think that I have ever seen a team start 7-0 and then lose its next six games. The closest I have seen to this is the 2005 B.C. Lions who won their first 11 games and then lost 6 of their final 7, including the West Final at home.

    What's scary is that the Bombers at 10-3 can obviously, at best, finish 15-3 which would include a victory over Calgary, but assuming Calgary wins out otherwise the Stamps would be 15-2-1. Has a 15-3 team ever not finished 1st in their division? BTW, I am of course hoping that the Bombers have another "L" coming courtesy of the Argos.

    I'm actually surprised Winnipeg has won as many games as they have, I would've never expected second in the West.

    Same with Edmonton, how many would've predicted a 7-0 and then going 0-6 ?

    Scary stuff coming out of Edmonton. Not directly related to the game but somewhat related due to the proximity of the incident. I hope everyone fully recovers. Not sure everyone even knows what happened since we're too busy dealing with real important issues like sharing CFL links on a CFL forum....
