Nathan Rourke has been cut again by the New England Patriots and is now a free agent after the Patriots picked two QBs in the draft, Drake Maye in the 3rd round and Joe Milton in the 6th round, as well as signing free agent Jacob Brissett. Rourke was likely going to be let go as soon as the Patriots fired HC Belichick, the person who signed Rourke. Rourke still has not played a down in the NFL other than in the preseason, where he received favourable reviews.

Nathan Rourke has signed with the New York Giants. The Giants did not select a QB in the draft and have only three other QBs in camp, so it might be better chance for Rourke to get playing time. The Atlanta Falcons also put in a claim for Rourke, but he was awarded to the Giants.

As a Giants fan, I've always wondered why the Giants never signed Rourke when he came from the CFL. Perhaps Rourke just chose the Jags, which was crazy in my mind. He would have likely seen the field ahead of Tommy DeVito last season and has a good opportunity to learn under Brian Daboll, having a good chance to make the team this season.
