GAME THREAD: BC at Winnipeg Saturday October 14

Matt Nichols and Andrew Harris having career years, along a host of good receivers, have made the Bombers the second highest scoring team in the league. While Winnipeg has went 8-2 in its last 10 games, BC is travelling in the opposite direction and playing with little spirit recently, and is likely to be the third team on the playoff sidelines. Unless Wally can somehow motivate the Lions to a greater effort, and Jennings can rediscover what made him successful last year, this could be long game for BC.

Another horrible roughing the passer call in the first half.

BC had two hits on Andrew Harris's on the same play, one of them after his helmet came off by Mr. headhunter, Micah Awe, and no penalty was called. Once again poor refereeing.

Former Argo TJ Heath sealed the win with his fifth interception of the year and a TD to give the Bombers a 26-6 lead with minutes to go. Yeah, that Heath of the highway robbery trade of Drew Willy for Heath, the first overall pick and a third rounder.

With a minute to go and the score 26-13, Rod Black says on three successive plays that BC needs to score, recover the onside kick and kick a field goal! Only Rod could come up with such math and such commentary!
