GAME THREAD: Saskatchewan at Calgary October 20

With the Riders having so many injuries in the defensive backfield that they are going to have Duron Carter going both ways, the strong odds in favour of Calgary winning have become much stronger.

What's going on? Calgary taking dumb penalties, Bo intercepted three times and fourth called back because of a roughing the passer penalty, Carter not just playing well in his first game as a DB but getting an interception for a TD, and most improbable of all two Canadian QBs playing against each other?

One of the most amusing CFL games i think i've ever watched.

Supposed power-house Stumps big home win streak shattered by a total beat-down by the Riders.

Ego-Jones gets away with playing great "athlete" Duron Carter at corner and he responds (amazing INT TD return effort) (love to see Ricky Ray get to face clown-act Carter playing CB, but will Ego continue to play Carter at corner and take his big-play ability out at WR?)

Bovine Mitchell exposed as big-time over-rated (sure gaudy winning % on a perennial powerhouse team, but sorry - this guy's arm is just not strong enough or accurate enough on intermediate to deep throws = not even close to an all-time/top 10 level CFL QB talent. plus he has limited mobility/ zero running ability, and is a cry-baby).

Two Canadian QBs playing in the same game ??? WTF - in the name of GOBs is going on there ?

Nice to see Chad Owens back playing and he looked good - a vet leader to help the Riders.

Great stuff !!! Anybody who believes the Stumps are this great team who are easy favorites - with their reg. season record - to win the GC, are in dream land - just like last season = big-time over-rated.

Duron Carter, defensive player of the year!

Weird game. Bad weather, every QB was terrible, and Paredes actually made a FG longer than his usual 14 yards.

Maybe the Stamps peaked too early.

Stamps win-loss record has been deceiving this season, they have been dominant and many times very ordinary.
Dont look now, playoffs are coming and the Stamps are starting to slide big time!!

How rare is it to see two Canadian QBs play against each other? The last time was 1984: Gerry Datillio vs. Greg Vavra.

Typical OV. Chris Jones who has done a great job with that team, but rubs OV the wrong way, so the team that is 13-2-1 is overrated. Absolutely ridiculous that you can't give credit where it's due.

Mitchell has not looked good the last 2 games, nor have other Stampeders. Every team goes through a slump in a long CFL season.

And sometimes, a team is due for a real stinker of a game - so maybe the Stumps got that out of their system.

Still wayyyy over-rated to me; best CFL defence though maybe and outstanding special teams, but their offence looks like $hite for several games now.
