    I envision that Wilder and Trestman (perhaps Spencer) will be the only winners from the east.

    Is Spencer really a ST ace in the East? Jackson is a better overall returner and got hosed with that one. Spencer gets touches but I dunno if he's really a great returner, deserving an award.

    I wouldn't say Spencer was wholly undeserving of the award.

    I think Finch wins the award unanimously, but Spencer had a decent season I suppose. About the same as Jackson's, although Spencer had less drops/fumbles.

    TBH, I'm just glad that Paredes wasn't up for that award. IMO his efficiency ratings is considerably overrated, as Calgary's offense does a good job of getting him closer than some other teams do.

    Spencer was fantastic this season. He won games for the Redblacks. I didn't miss a single game. Ask an Ottawa fan if he was "decent, I suppose." They will roll their eyes at you.

    Finch is another game breaker. I expect him to win it, but it doesn't take away from Dionte's season. He was really good. "Decent," as posted by another, doesn't properly describe his accomplishments. I just like to see credit given, where it's due.

    As a receiver/returner, yes I would agree, but solely as a returner I thought Spencer was okay.

    He was better as a returner this year. He was good as a receiver.
