Semi-final: Edmonton at winnipeg sunday november 12

The Eskimos have refound their mojo and with Reilly leading them, I give them the edge over the Bombers, especially if Nichols calf injury that kept him out of most of the last two games acts up.

An exciting, hard fought game that is tied 10-10 at the half, reflects the generally fine play on both sides.

Despite Andrew Harris gaining 120 yards rushing and receiving, Matt Coates having the best game of his career and Matt Nichols passing for over 300 yards, the repeated total breakdown in coverage by the Bombers enabled Reilly to throw to wide open receivers repeatedly, while Gable powered his way through Bombers to score 2 TDs.

Rumour has it that Kent Austin is being fitted for a Grey Cup ring should Edmonton win it, with that gift of Gable late in the season.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Bombers lost the turnover battle in a huge way today as well.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Which is what they need (more than any other team) to win considering that it masked the deficiencies in their defence.

It was revealed that Winnipeg QB Matt Nichols was playing with a broken finger. Apparently it happened when his throwing hand struck a Hamilton helmet, but I wonder if he actually broke it on his own helmet?
