East Final Tailgate

Like most of you I got the email re: the east final tailgate and I’m curious how they’re able to serve beer from 9am onward in our prohibition-style province?

I haven’t got a tailgate pass because I figured it’d only be open from 11am onward given liquor laws but now I may change my tune.

Anyhow just very curious on how they’re doing this (not a bad thing, a great thing!)

Just a quick question: Can I just go to the tailgate with my ticket? In other words, to I have to do anything additionally to go see Dwayne Gretzky? Also, can I bring my kids along (10 and 8 years old)?

Anyone who has a ticket to the game can Walk into the Tailgate. If you're parking you have to buy a Tailgate Parking Pass. Kids are welcome.

Kudos to the organizers for making this a "$4 Beers and Caesars" tailgate. I cannot drink beer at 10 am, but a bloody caesar or three is the Breakfast of Champions. I hope they have some spicy ones, and I hope they have enough.

I like Caesars too but I find the premixed ones that you get from the LCBO don't taste very good. Maybe that's just me though.

That's a good idea and they're a league sponsor so that should be totally doable. Might be good to get other sponsors like Pizza Pizza to do the same thing. More food trucks means faster lines.

They were giving away free coffee once at a tailgate.

I hope they enlarge the tailgating area for this game. At the last game, by thirty minutes before kick off, there was little parking space available and I would expect even more attending the tailgating for this game.

I have attended hundreds of sporting events and must say I remained sober for every one of them.

There have been food trucks at every Tailgate so far but this is the first one that's opening so early.

my friend Mike (row behind me) will be tail-gating and I will be a walk-in, wouldn't miss this one.

Only other one I got to was the July tail-gate reunion of the back-2-back Flutie champs.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it looked like a downpour was about to hit us the entire time (it didn't)

Perhaps some past-year Argos will be there Sunday.

Couldn't find any info on food, but I bought a tailgate pass anyway for $30, so I'm committed rain or shine! Sara Moore tweeted that they have sold more passes than any other game this year and have since opened up a second tailgate lot for the game. With Dwyane Gretzky as the live band and a bunch of us watermelon smashing, should make for an energetic start to gameday!
