Walk up crowds are a thing of the past for any team. Be luckily to sell 100 tickets from the window gameday. Doesn't matter, over 20000 in that stadium is going to be and feel fantastic.



I bought a pair in 225, row 1 for $80 each. Decent price for a playoff. These seats provide an elevated view that is still lower in height than the upper East side and are probably the best football viewing seats. Hardly a fool.

The Argos largest walk up crowd this year was 1500 during the CNE game. They usually get half that for reg season. That could put them over the top on Sunday.

without a doubt they've over priced the seats since the move to BMO. If tickets are priced correctly, in a non sell out situation the stands (where the fans are sitting) should look like a Christmas tree with the upper corners empty and last to sell. With 12-15 thousand at each game there is no reason not to have everyone sitting between the 20 yard lines. Besides maybe really cheap seats in the end zone $10 and kids $5. I was pissed last year when I spent $500 per season seat and I was sitting on the 18th yard and looked across to see empty seats at mid field. Put your fans who are willing to commit and pay in decent seats. Now I got cheap seats (fanzone) and move to mid field every regular season game. Their loss, if they priced mid field East side at $500 at the beginning I would probably still be paying that much for seasons and those would be my official seats. I had a couple of friends interested in season seats last year but didn't want to pay $400 to sit in the corner. Start mid field at $50 per ticket and work your way down $5 to $10 each section towards the end zones.

Decided to move to Section#226 Row#13 from Section#225 Row#1 and save $250/seat over a season (better bang for the buck) IMO.

The seats were improperly priced from the beginning given the demand. They really should have tried to get asses in the seats from the beginning, and cheaper seats would have probably accomplished that. If the demand started to rise then do the old frog in the pot trick. Just slowly raise the prices. When the frog dies, you know went to high.

17k sold before Saskatchewan was even in the game, according to TSN. Leaving only 8k available at the conclusion of the East semi. I don't think very many people buy tickets to a sports game without knowing if their team is even in it (save for the Cup game) so I'm sticking with my original prediction of 5k of those people there. Still an impressive number though

There will be a few hundred Riders fans - maybe 1k at the most. But the mythology coming out of Saskatchewan will be that 15k are Riders fans.

Tomorrows game will be like the 100th Grey Cup. The prevailing wisdom was that the game would be a neutral championship. Fans from all over with allegiances to all the team's. It would not be an Argo crowd. Calgary didn't even practice with noise. That game was very pro Argo. Kevin Glenn was a deer caught in the headlights. Toronto showed they still had the Argos back in 2012. We may witness something similar tomorrow.
