    .

Can you freakin' believe that just happened!?!?!??!

Still in shock. So happy for Ricky (he got emotional during his interview) and Matt Black. Cleyon is the man, he could have been player of the game. Posey was great, gave a great interview after. Larry Tannenbaum got his cup! Ha, how bout That?

I thought we were sunk with Wilder having a lousy game.

All that said, I feel REALLY bad for the stamps. Holy crap, that was so brutal for them...

    Congratulations Argos!!! Love ya!

Is this Ricky's last game? I think the emotion says it was.

I'll be classless here and say I'm happy they lost. BLM threw Buckley under the bus last year when he himself didn't get the job done and could have won the game. And they keep showing that clip constantly throwing Buckley under the bus and no one else acknowledges they blew it. Same cocky attitude this year and he didn't get the job done again. I hope this has brought him a little humility like the Argos.

Still cannot believe it — amazing victory especially after last week’s great comeback win. Ricky is the best.

Heartfelt congratulations to everyone on this site. Things sure looked pretty bleak last Spring... but a miracle has been building throughout this season... and it has finally happened. I've never felt more proud to be a life long Argonauts fan than I do at this moment.

Best regards to all... and Go You Argos !!!

No words. F the haters. F the doubters.

And thank you Baltimore Ravens and Montreal Alouettes. And the Jacksonville Jaguars. And the Drew Willy that had a domino effect for the better (if you better believe it).

Wow. Exciting game! And we won!

It was kinda noisy where I was watching - was there a good explanation for why Mitchell threw that late interception? It looked like a foolish pass under the circumstances, but I may have missed something.

And now McDaniel throws Jorden under the bus, it's easy to not like those guys and to support Trestman and Co.

Here's what I got to say besides CONGRATS TO THE TORONTO ARGONAUTS!! About 1.5 years ago, I said on this board that I believed Ricky Ray was done. I gave him props for the 2012 Grey Cup win, and all the great efforts and amazing stats that he provided the Argos since then. His many injuries and lack of Argonauts success in the last couple of years made me think that the Argos needed to move on. When Mark Trestman, upon being named head coach, named unilaterally Ricky Ray as the starter, I must say I wasn't exactly pleased. It's not that I didn't want Ray back, I was just concerned that Ray given his health could be the one to lead the Argos further. Well, I was wrong. Absolutely wrong. I want to apologise to Ricky Ray for ever doubting him, and say thank you to Trestman and Popp for trusting him. I'm, just glad I was wrong!!! Congrats Argos and thanks for the championship!!!

It was, but like the fumble they were going for the win which was the right thing to do and ya can't blame them for that.

And this year Sports Centre is reporting that Marquay McDaniel is throwing Kamar Jorden under the bus for his fumble near the end of the game. One thing that has been evident all year with the Argos is despite all the adversity they have played and won and lost as a team. I believe that has played a major role in this win.

See my post above, I saw the clip (below). And with the long reception Jorden was the guy who put them in the position to win.

McDaniel on Jorden's fumble: You're in traffic, put two hands on the ball
Marquay McDaniel was unforgiving in his post-game comments regarding Kamar Jorden's turnover, saying he doesn't understand why Jorden didn't protect the ball.

I was thinking he'd be important too, but uh, we were wrong. I wonder whether he might have been a bit banged up; otherwise completely ignoring him was an odd choice.

Dunigan summed it up perfectly. Not so much on the fumble but give credit to Laing who made a great play.

Just saw that. McDaniel is a piece of garbage. Officially my least favourite player in the league now. Yell at the guy in private, beat him up in the shower, do whatever you want in private. Never throw a teammate under the bus to national media.

    Goosebumps.

The fumble will go down as one of the most consequential plays in Grey Cup history. Stunning to watch it unfold.

The penalties were beyond frustrating. We need clarity on pass interference but I think relative to the season that preceded it, the calls tonight were fair.

Last and not least, I'm getting emotional myself thinking this may be Ray's last game. If it is, it's a classy way to end it. After +30 years of mild and occasional interest in the Argonauts, I truly became a fan of the team because of Ray five years ago. He'll always be at the top of my all time great list.

Agreed. That was very lacking in class. Have to feel for Jordan.
