A civic celebration at Nathan Phillips Square is a great way to cap off an incredible season. Hopefully a few tickets will be sold due to the event. My heart will be there even if my backside isn't. Sadly I will have to console myself with news clips of long-faced Stampeders cleaning out their lockers. That never gets old.
Does anyone know if the celebration today will be televised? We are in the US and hope we can pick up a stream somewhere. If anyone has info would appreciate the station name. Great win and have really enjoyed our first real season of Canadian football.
TSN4/5 is covering the Celebration from NPS (or so they say).....I would bet CP24 and the like will probably have it on too.....
Thank you, thank you, thank you. We have a streaming device and I have TSN 4 on right now. We have a grandson on the Grey Cup Champions so am thankful to be able to watch the celebration with everyone. His grandfather is from the Brantford area so even though we live in US we are a "mixed" household.
Dylan Wynn - very, very proud of him. He is a great young man and a great athlete. He loves the Argo's but got into a little trouble with his Granddad when he said he thought he was from Edmonton.

I guess I'll post about the trophy unveiling here:
I felt it was much better organized and more fun to be there than in 2012, although no actual parade. Players got much closer to fans and if you stayed til the end, you could practically stand next to them. Much more intimate experience than in 2012, where they parked the buses in the back and barricaded the players.
Glad Pinball didn't speak. As much as we all love him, it's no longer about him and team should focus on the players of today.
Popp made a good point that Argos beat 4 Western teams in a row to win the Grey Cup. And who says they didn't deserve it?
I'll take credit for being the first (in my mind) and starting a "3 more years" chant going before Ray took the mic, which the crowd kinda started cheering a whole bunch of things lol. Although 3 years is pushing it, I thought one was a bit insulting, 2 is probably ideal but what the heck, just wanted him to feel appreciated/wanted. When A fan even chanted "One more year" later on, Ray replied: "why not 2?". Trestman then gave him a fist bump immediately after that comment (a good sign?). But, Ray has two young daughters and I have the upmost respect if he decides to not wanting to take anymore beatings.
Marc Trestman is probably the best coach in all sports, all levels. Find someone who presents himself like that and is committed to his coaching vision.
