Sorry if that was a problem for you. When I started that post your post was not up. I got interrupted by my wife before I finished, so I missed your post.

Mitchell did it to Buckley last year (which is why I can't stand him) and then Mitchell had the chance to win it and he blew it, last year and now again this year.

Not a problem for me. Ok, I think the Stamp schadenfreude has cleared my system, on to filling BMO next year. Larry, you've got the only winner in Toronto (for the past 20 some years) do what you have to do to sell out that stadium.

It'll likely be with Collaros behind the centre.

Tremendous game and a wow ending for our Argos to be the champs.
The sad part is the season is over and there is no other sport out there for 6more months.
I hope this win translates for some of the wannabe population here in the city to give us a look, as Rome was not built in a day..... one brick at a time.
    Cheers.

Major props to Popp. Just thinking about how we released most of our receivers late last year. Besides JWJ, Popp assembled the prefect combination of players. Great going, Argos!!

What an amazing end to a truly incredible season. Talk about a team of destiny, huh? There was something special brewing and you could start feeling it just after the first bye week. A truly positive energy was emanating from this team. Truly remarkable...so exciting...I am still numb! Congratulations to this team for a remarkable run. Tonight was like the boxer who does the rope-a-dope, taking everything from the other side and then coming off the ropes for the win. Gutsy...from start to finish.

I think Ray will retire on top, his emotions during the post game on field interview spoke volumes IMO.
    Classy organization top to bottom.

Agreed. How can the city not embrace this team? They are special. But, yeah, what are we going to do with our sevles until June - Lol!

For all of you regulars on here, a much deserved congratulations for sticking with this team and continued support! I have loved the Argos since I was 12 years old and seen them now win 6 championships! This might just be the sweetest because of all the factors involved; a team that was in disarray in February, the low attendance in their stadium, not nearly enough love from their own city, and a team of a lot of players coming back from so much adversity on a personal level. To top it all off, they have carried themselves with such poise and class. I could not be happier for them, especially Matt Black!

They say karma's a bitch, not for him, he and the Argos were class all the way and it was great to see him be rewarded with the big play AND a ring.

    Holy freaking crap, We WON!
Happily eating crow right now, and admittedly I got really emotional after the Black INT. Special shout out to Danny Webb, who helped turn the game around in the second quarter.

Team of destiny type of deal when you think about it:
    - Copeland's dithering allowed for enough time where it Popp was able to bring in Trestman.
    - losing out on Free Agents work out as Dennis played so poorly at tackle for the Riders that he was moved to Guard, and Jackson had his worst CFL season for the Alouettes
    - By not signing those guys we had enough money to trade for SJ Green, bring in Bear Woods after he was cut, and Marcus Ball. Special thank you has to go to Kavis for also letting Wilder go of the Neg List.
    - Corey Chamblin defense lead us to a Grey Cup victory. I don't think anyone except Paul was behind that move.
    - Ricky Ray not only stayed relatively healthy, but had one of his best statisitcal seasons, and lead us to his 4th Grey Cup.

I have no idea what Bo Levi Mitchell was thinking on that throw though........ Somebody's got some explaining to do lol.

Side Note: I just saw Ricky's post game clip, he was really emotional, I've never seen him like that. Almost got me choked up. And great so see Tanenbaum so happy to get his first Championship, kudos to Popp for handing the Cup to him first.

Toronto Rock's first game is Dec. 8th, Leafs, Raps, Marlies, and Steelheads still playing. TFC's Eastern Final on Wednesday. NFL still on. Lots of sports going on right now.

Wow.... fantastic late effort by the team. You cannot say it was a lucky fumble, because it was a great effort made to punch the ball out of the hands of the Calgary player and then a great run of 109 yards. Levi-Mitchell looked terrible as he had a great chance to knock the Argo player out of bounds, but missed terribly. Can't say I've seen a Grey Cup game turn around so dramatically in such a short time span before. Next up- the parade !!! Do you realize the last time the Argos lost in a Grey Cup game was 1987 !!! They've now won six straight games they've played in. Looked good on Calgary and Levi Mitchell to go for the long pass when they already had the game tied and sent to overtime, if they didn't get so greedy.
Now the saddest part of the year.... no more Argo football until June !!!

They had to go for it, just a poor decision by Mitchell to throw that ball

Let's not forget about the Rock, we complain about being excluded from the city championships so let's not do it to another team. They're the same as us, a great team/sport that doesn't get much attention. Now let's fill BMO up and reward this team for a great season

They had to go for the TD ? They were a field goal away from going into overtime.
