Sad what's happening over in Vancouver, and I feel even worse for Wally who seems to be taking it all head on. It would be great if the League and Ambrosie could force Braley to sell, but I know that can't happen unless Braley misses a payment, but something needs to be done here IMO.

Unfortunately it is, and the Lions are digging a hole that will be very difficult and likely generational to get out of. Ambrosie is just the guy to thank Braley for all he's done and to point out that although he loves the CFL he is killing it as well. You can understand that through the sale Braley wants to get his money back but if he loves the game as much as he's shown in the past, he has to realize what he is doing to the future of the team. It looks now as if the Acquilini's may no longer be interested.

He's probably thinking that if he waits long enough, like he did with the Argos, he'll get what he wants. Because he's so financially set, he has been able to do this his whole life and he's a patient man but he may also not be a very well man these days.

If the Aquilini's and David Sidoo have indeed lost interest, then that's not good news at all for that market. Perfect Ownership for that market IMO, as they have to money, synergies with the Canucks, and Political, Corporate, and Football ties to make it work in that market. The Aquilini's were also previously interested in the Whitecaps (not so much now due to the inflated purchase prices of MLS teams), an MLSE type of organization with the Canucks, Lions, Whitecaps, and an NLL team (Stealth are struggling in Langley) would be great to see.

Poor Wally probably feels obligated to remain as GM and head coach, as nobody else would want those jobs with so much uncertainty surrounding that franchise.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Yup, and that's why I feel so bad for him. I've heard that Wally didn't even want to return to the sidelines in the first place, but did so out of loyalty to the Lions and Braley. He gets rewarded by the dysfunction up top - just sad.
