Sulky's profile suggests he could provide strong competition in TC as a DE.
Edwards re-signed. Pretty great to get our #2 receiver back, and gratifying to see a guy stick around after a breakout season.
Amazing News. Glad to see Popp getting a good start to prioritizing the FA Class.Edwards re-signed. Pretty great to get our #2 receiver back, and gratifying to see a guy stick around after a breakout season.
With Armanti back I presume SJ will get done as well per his comments previously indicating a desire to stay with Popp and Trestman.
I do believe that Posey will test the free agent waters, without someone like Montreal or BC overpaying for him.
Fantastic news. Posey could potentially get a big payday elsewhere, but I'm betting he would rather take a bit less to stay in a good situation (if he can't find an NFL gig). The example of Ernest Jackson might be mentioned to him by Popp.

Great! Edwards often seemed to make catches when we most needed them.
Everyone talks about Wilder's big 3rd down catch in the EF, but two plays later Armanti Edwards' clutch 2nd down grab in traffic at the 1 sealed the deal in that game. This guy is only going to get better, and he's so versatile, he can return kicks, he can take the ball out of the backfield, and I hope we get to see him throw the ball on a trick play or two this year.
Ben Malena was signed today. If you recall, he was with the team at the end of 2016 and was in training camp until he got injured in the first pre-season game against the Alouettes. The Argos also signed DB Caleb Ham. Rod Black has more material now because of who Caleb's father is.

Great news with the Edwards signing! This off-season has been fantastic so far. Lots of smart signings.
While Caleb Ham's father, Tracy, had a great CFL career, his single 1993 season with the Argos was far from that. Hopefully, Caleb will enjoy more success with the Argos.
I wouldn't put the blame all at his feet. He was ill-suited to the system, but it is also my understanding that the talent level had dropped significantly from a few years prior. I believe you still had some of the guys on defence like Harding, Moen, Pleasant et al but the Argos lost Wilson, Berry, Gaines, Ford etc. As a six-year old at the time all I remember is that the Argos were very bad.

The Argos gave up a lot of valuable guys in the eight-for-eight trade, and got back ONE legit player, Tracy Ham. It was not a huge surprise that the Esks, with a stack of ex-Argos contributing, won the 1993 Grey Cup.
