Not sure what to make of the Heath signing either. Heath makes a lot of plays, but gets beat a lot as well. Reminds me of Ansah actually, just a bit better."

I'm not sure losing respect for a GM signing, arguably, the best Boundary Half in the game is fitting. And as you made the comparison to AK I illustrated my thoughts with some differences in their outputs in the CFL.

There is an obvious difference in the two players.

If I have misrepresented your thoughts in any way, I do humbly apologize. Just talkin football here.
You did misrepresented quite a bit, and somehow you combined what I said about Waters with what I said about Heath. I lost respect for Popp for the Waters signing, not the Heath signing. I'll leave it at that.

My error then. Maybe it was not you pushing the Heath is over-rated narrative after all. I've been kinda amazed by that angle on this board. I attribute it to the Drew Willy trade and considered it a rather biased theory. I still certainly believe that if you think that he's around the same level of player (or just a little better) than AK, then both you and I will be pretty happy with Heath and our Secondary in 2018.

And I am not disparaging Akwasi Ansah; although it sounds like you may beg to differ, I still wouldn't mind seeing him and Darby go at it in TC for the spot on the corner opposite Ronnie Yell.

My only lingering concern, including MLB and DE, is who will coach this Defense.
Let's do two in Double Blue
