I feel bad for Cole Watson. Plays well two preseasons in a row, but can't stick with the team.

The only one I'm a little surprised at is Addison, just because his name came up a bunch in the preseason games. Some dropped balls, though, if I recall correctly.

With the exception of Loiselle and the long snapper, draft picks are sticking around on the active or the PR. Makes me feel a little better about the draft

No surprise that the Evan Gill experiment didn't work out.

Looks like we're putting at least twelve on the IR.

I dont see Tobias Palmer on the cut list or the PR. I dont recall hearing this guys name in the preseason games. Anyone have some insight?

Sucks that Watson's been released; I thought he looked good every time he saw action. Not surprised about Gill tbh.

He must have had a good camp, but it feels strange that he never even caught a pass in the pre-season.

I also noticed Tobias Palmer was not included in the cuts or added to the PR. He may be on the injury list but that information has not been released yet.

No real surprises but did think Cole Watson had done enough to make the PR so that was a small surprise.

Note-- former 1st rounder Ekakitie was released by the Peg.

Interesting that three INT DB's were placed on the PR (Washington/Downling/Covington)

Still wonder who will be the back up kicker?

I recall reading that Palmer was released about a week ago.

I think the backup kicker will either be Zac Mederos who was recently cut by Montreal, or Waters who apparently is injured.

Teams don't necessarily have a backup kicker either. They have an emergency kicker whose identity is not generally known to the public unless there is an emergency.

Van Gylswyk was released by Montreal. Worth a look IMO.

Whatever happened to Brandon Whitaker ? I don't recall seeing any news about him after last season. Did he retire, or has he tried out with another team?

Contract expired, still remains unsigned. Most likely will just fizzle out of the game.
