    Interesting to observe, Striker has gone directly onto the active roster not the PR. Looks as if he is slated to take Plummer's place. Plummer impressed last year and is presently on the one game injury list but perhaps is injury is more serious than first thought.

    Described as a classic tweener for the NFL-short but quick, he might be a better fit for the larger CFL field. Seems to have good potential but will need to show quickly if he can do the job.

    Striker was the talk of the Bills' Training Camp a couple of years back. He was a tremendous player in college... big school too!

    Nah that was the air traffic controller Steve McCroskey played by Lloyd Bridges. As a complete aside both Bridges and Leslie Neilsen were not thought of as comedic actors before Airplane. It kinda altered the career trajectory of both.

    Just noticed on the official CFL Transaction site, Argos added receiver Bralon Addison (a cut after TC) on June 29, which was the same day Myles White was signed. Team appears to be making a serious effort to find a wide receiver who can stretch the field.

    I guess that he hasn't been able to earn a starting position. It might still happen someday or not.

    Which makes sense as he played LB in College. So, maybe Jones just tried to convert him to DE ?
