This guy had over 250 carries in the NFL for over 1,000 yards, he can run, he can catch and he's a great returner, an upgrade over Martese Jackson in every way. Let's throw him into the backfield as a change of pace to Wilder and see what happens.

i still think the calling of defences has NOT been aggressive - one just had to watch the ssk @ ham game tonite

According to https://www.cfl.ca/transactions/, Argos have added DE Frank Beltre from the injured list on July 24th, but the Argos roster does not show that.

According to the CFL Transactions site, Brandon Washington (OL) has been removed from roster (released I assume). Looks as if Bomben will be moving into right OG, giving the Argos 4 Nationals on the OL That should give the team more flexibility to play an American ---whoops sorry--International elsewhere. Wonder if we will see more moves during this bye week?

It also supposes, the team is satisfied with the young Canadians backing up Bomben

Messam would be a PR disaster with the general population, and even more so with women.

In addition, Messam has passed his best before date. This was evident as he wore down in the latter part of the 2017 season, if not before. This year he has a 3.9 yard/carry compared to 4.7 in 2017, 5.8 in 2016, and 6.4 in 2015. He has always been poor at catching the ball, but this year he has fallen off the cliff to 25 yards. It is not an accident that Calgary, the best team in terms of assessing talent to build their team for the last decade, let him go at the end of 2017.

altho his yds avg are down about a yd since last yr, his receiving % is up 10%
i think he and wilder in bf to help protect mbt would very good
and he can alway sneak out for a catch - both he and wilder are big and have great hands
