BC Lions have released DE Gabriel Knapton. Justin Dunk suggests that because of the loss of Shawn Lemon, the Argos could be the frontrunner for Knapton who Popp knows from his Alouette days.
The Riders just signed former Argo WR Kenny Shaw to the PR today
Hustle hit and never quit
Tuggle and Campbell on the 1-game
Sackey moved to PR
Isiah Cage moved up to Active Roster
J'Michael Deane added from retired - Must have shown he was worth bringing back
Addison has been dropped from PR
Barry is back on PR again -
So the return of Bear Woods seems imminent. They will probably play both Akeem Jordon and Bear in the middle.
I wonder if they will experiment with a 5 man National front in anticipation of the arrival of Duron Carter?
It's amazing how much better an OL looks, when the receivers can get down field and make their breaks.
The release of Addison is another endorsement for Mario Alfred.

Much as we know Trestman likes to have five NAT o-linemen, I don't think the Argos have any NAT capable of starting right now at LT. Deane is a guard, not a tackle. I expect we will continue to use an INT at LT. Hopefully some day J. Campbell develops into a starting tackle.

National OL Landon Rice has been released by the Als as he was about to have his salary guaranteed. He could provide further depth to the Argo OL.
Fantuz ran more like a 4.9 at his CFL Combine; and pretty sure Sinopoli was around 4.8. Speed is not a priority for big slotbacks who can get by and be top notch receivers with very good route running, superb hands, plus some toughness or YAC ability (Sinopoli is outstanding at YAC).
Brian Jones has excellent speed and other athletic testing #s for a big slotback; he needs to be on a CFL team that values a big slotback or Canadian receiver talent in their offence, but there are few of those; "shaky hands" eh - my @rse, based on ultra limited CFL chances.
How often is the roster page updated on the Argos site?
It shows Ray on Active Roster and Bear Woods on 6-game
That's pretty bad.
It's us vs the rest of the country
