So how much money did Larry and Bell make? I see this as more of an added partner, rather than a acquisition. But I guess technically Bell and Larry sell the club to Larry, Bell and Rogers
Great news, but does this mean Sportsnet actually has to report positive news on the Argos now?
Excellent news for the league. Congrats!

"Under its current ownership, a transformed Argonauts football club enhanced its presence and fan base in Canada’s largest sports market and ultimately marched to the CFL championship," MLSE president and CEO Michael Friisdahl said in a statement. "We look forward to building on the Argos’ strong momentum as we welcome the team to the leading provider of sports and entertainment experiences in Canada."Have to think a full embracing of #Argos by the entirety of MLSE will mean some game broadcasts on Sportsnet down the road. #CFL

Big time story for the CFL. For a number of reasons. Whispers were around about this, but only whispers. Now, if the CFL goes to 10 teams quickly, you could see sharing of games between TSN and Sportsnet as an example https://t.co/tu1JtcKuBE

yes, net result just selling part of the team to rogers.
Probably makes logistics, ticketing, etc easier.
FYI: rogers is looking at selling its sports assets - Jays and MLSE stake. Bell probably has rights to buy rogers share, so 3 years from now its will be just LT & Bell owning MLSE. Rogers needs cash badly to upgrade its network to make its comparable to huge $$$ Bell/Telus spent on their networks.
Great news for the Argos and the CFL in general.
This should have been done years ago.
So does this mean their sub lease at BMO is out the window and they're equal footing with TFC in this regard?
