All kidding aside, this really irks me. A self proclaimed Billionaire being allowed to get bankruptcy protection for something everyone knew he couldn't make money on is really annoying. Maybe it's time for Governments to make these types sign an agreement prohibiting them from being allowed to file for bankruptcy before they give them a licence to start up a league like this.

Any business big or small, can go bankrupt. Goes to show, no matter who’s bankrolling or how many years it’s funded, doesn’t mean anything. What’s more concerning is that someone like McMahon can come out relatively clean. Truth has come to light that the WWE was in fact funding part of the league. That’s going to complicate things, but also a huge factor in closing things up. Once other investors are involved, it’s not all up to Vince. I saw the league completing the season, but Corona was the expatiated nail in the coffin it seems. There’s some big financial discrepancies that are being told. How is Trestman owed almost a million? Did he coach for free the last 5 games? $44 Million in losses? I guess that makes sense if the next 3 seasons were funded with $400 million.

Normally I’d agree with your sentiment however with the current relationship between CFL players and the league the players could very well smell what the Rock is cookin.

That definitely will be a factor, wonder if the are looking at 2022.
Uphill climb for sure, I don’t see a huge appetite for spring football.

MAybe he wants to do a movie on the XFL, and by now owning the league, he wouldn't have to change any of the names.
