    Coaching Staff

When did our coaching staff balloon to 16 ?
Seems as though every time Trestman comes to CFL, the coaching staffs across the League grow. Montreal has 11 right now, and are planning to add quality control coaches later on.

Pretty sure we had 16 last year, or close to it. It's not Trestman, it's pro football. Staffs keep ballooning. Amazing that we Obie and Matthews won Grey Cups with four assistants back in the day.

Not really room for Ricky on a staff that size, if he retires. Not that I think he would do that here anyway. Second-best scenario (after his return) is he retires, hires on here as a coach and stays in shape, just in case. But realistically I doubt he will jump straight into coaching. His buddy Jason Maas might want to hire him, but does Ricky really want the life of a coach (18-hour days) at this stage of his life? Wonder if he has talked to Calvillo about it.

Continuity in the coaching staff. Seems rare for the Argos. Notice former RB Dahhran Diedrick on the list. So relieved to see Himbach and Condell return. This is great news.

The Argos have yet to make an official announcement about their 2018 coaching staff so I am not assuming that what is listed will necessarily be who will be coaching in 2018. I would have no complaints if this is the coaching staff though.

Seems that our personnel department is set.

Welcome Catherine Raiche and Chantal Covington...

seems the Tire Fire in Montreal continues with the Argos turning into Alouettes-lite.

Nice to see young Zimmerman get an extension. I thought he showed himself well last off season during all the transitions. Notice Justin Hickman has been hired as a scout.

I think that Hickman was a scout in 2017 as he quietly transitioned from a player to retirement.
