Condell expected to be named Argos' OC

Can't say that I'm surprised, good move by Trestman, if/when it happens.

Someone should ask Trestman about his DC?

Yeah, I'm thinking an update re: Chamblin wouldn't be out of place at this point.

In fairness, the Argos weren't the ones who put the Chamblin stuff out there so they may not see the need to respond to rumour. Until I hear otherwise, I am assuming that Chamblin will be the defensive coordinator again in 2018.

IMO he will be a better OC than Marcus Brady.

The issue I have with the Argo OC position it is somewhat of a misnomer as lacking the complete package since Coach T calls from what we see and believe all of the plays, and likely player insertion.
Therefore leaving the OC as a glorified assistant during game situation.

Don't know how often you have been to practice, but Trestman does not work with the offence on a day to day basis on the field. He lets the coordinator handle that, and Condell was very hands on last year in terms of timing and depths of route running by the receivers. It may be Trestman's game plan and calling of plays, but the coordinator absolutely prepares the offence during the week.
It's us vs the rest of the country

If that the case Angelo the Argos are in good hands with Condell, glad we have him.

We're very lucky to have Tommy Condell IMO.

I have been to some practices and yes the OC does run same.
My issue as I have said is the game with the play calling by the HC, therefore taking away from the OC.
I know this has been a recent trend by head coaches for game calling.
As for Condell I do like him and like most have heard nothing but good things about his capabilities.

Brady, on game days, looked more like a QB coach than anything else. A position I've already reserved for Ray!

I was happy to see him take the reins before Trestman came into the picture. As a young offensive mind, detailed, yet still a players coach, he will be collecting a NFL cheque someday too.
