I have no idea how you are able to make that judgment and also that of another poster about it being a "temp" facility. Is the building being torn down sometime soon?

weight room isn't up to CFL standards, space is small, not built for big team, hard to clean.

Probably still use the non-MLSE indoor turf facilities there in october/november.

It should be noted that MLSE has multiple grass fields outside hamilton that are backup sod for BMO's. One of those can replace don bosco after some landscape/drainage work, its the same grass mix as BMO.
Long term probably field turf is likely so MLSE can sell it to community groups in offseason.

You're kidding right? Another poster listed where all of the other teams practice. They all practice at their home stadiums or have designated practice facilities such as fieldhouses like in Edmonton. The Argonauts are the only team which practice in a shuttered high school. So yeah, I'm going out on a limb and saying they have the worst facilities of any team in the CFL. And don't think this stuff doesn't matter. If you were an American player coming from a big US college program what would your first impression of the league and team be when you practice for the first time at Don Bosco? And now how about a Canadian player who already knows the standard of living is higher in Toronto, and you get little coverage/fan interest, and you get to practice at facilities like you had in high school. Are you going to put Toronto at the top of your list to come and play.

And I say all of this knowing that good players do come here and they have won championships here practicing in the worst conditions in the league. 2012 was even worse than 2017. It is a testament to the character of the players coming here and the coaching to block this nonsense out.

Having said all of that. Enough is enough. The team have owners who can change all of this and I hope that they do because retention of talent is important. They are doing themselves no favors maintaining the status quo.
    GO ARGOS!!!

Watch this video for stamps about DB coach Khalil Carter.
    https://www.stampeders.com/2017/06/1...kahlil-carter/

You will see the Coach's offices/Team administration office, Football operations(locker room, meeting rooms). These facilities were built in 2011 after the Flames ownership
group got involved. It is a wholesale approach. When Charleston Hughes made the remark about the storage shed after signing with Roughriders. He was referring about the situation
before this upgrade was done. The expectations have changed for running a professional sports organization.
It's a wholesale approach - proper fields, conditioning, body maintenance, nutrition, presentation, youth interaction.

    MLS gets it.Does the CFL?

This is the Montreal Impact Facilities(beautiful renovation of an old firehouse).21 million dollar investment.

This is the Vancouver Whitecaps facilities.32 million dollar investment.

Visited a few yes, and your point is? Do you have some news that the rest of us don't have regarding what the Argos will be doing? All I see is two guys complaining about something they don't know anything about unless your name is Kreskin or something and you can predict the future.

So, apparently there are no contractors in Toronto that can tear down a few walls, add a drop ceiling, tile a floor, or install an outdoor field artificial or turf?

And, apparently MLSE has lost the phone number or website address of any companies that are able to supply professional gym equipment?

The conversation turned to what the Argonauts currently have in comparison to other teams, no longer about what will be done. Odds are something will be done, but as of right now the Argonauts have the worst facilities.

Well, from the messages I have been receiving it seems people think MLSE will leave it that way. Highly unlikely.

As has been mentioned the postings have been about how currently and in the recent past the Argos have the worst practice facilities in the CFL. The hope is that MLSE will do something about that. I have no knowledge about their plans.
