    Question was asked about if league is looking at expansion strategies borrowed from nhl in wake of golden knights

    League is talking with other leagues on how to grow new teams but noted that Ottawa is a close to home example.

    I asked about streaming packages for season and got a cagey answer likely due to TSN hosting event. Didn’t get impression that it was imminent but league recognizes people want to watch game in different ways.

    Took a recording not sure of quality will post upon return home.

    Owner confirmed team name not 100% but it will be “Atlantic” something not “Halifax”.

    Hopefully Randy will be on same Flight as me.

    I also defended the honour of Argos fans everywhere when topic of us not showing up was brought up by a friendly Atlantic bomber fan.

    We had a nice chat after it was done. I felt compelled to speak out for those of us that care. Estimated our numbers at a solid 10k. Anyway he asked what the problems were and I told him and also we are working on it.

    Needless to say he accepted my invite to tailgate for Calgary game. So let’s all show him a good time!
