Urban Bowman, who was a special teams coach for the Argos in 2000, has passed away. He spent most of his career coaching the Bombers, but also coached the Ottawa Rough Riders, Hamilton Tiger Cats and Edmonton Eskimos. When HC Cal Murphy became ill in 1992, he led the Bombers, as interim HC, to a 11-7 record and a Grey Cup berth but lost to Calgary.
