    Raptors' Drake Night Includes Argos Content

    This is how being owned by MLSE will slowly bring Argos back closer to the mainstream. Last night they gave away shirts that featured of the logos of Leafs, Jays, Raptors, TFC and, surprise, surprise, the Argonauts. Of course they screwed it up by using the Jason logo which the team hasn't used in about 15 years, but still, it's the thought that counts. James Wilder and S.J. Green were there and introduced as reps of one of the five clubs, rubbing shoulders with the big dogs. Over time, this kind of thing rubs off on sports fans and many more of them will come to consider the Argonauts as belonging with the others.

    One man's "screw it up" is another's good business play. They do after all own all the logo's and they knew they were using this one.

    Outdated Argo logo was the first thing I noticed, should use the current shield logo.
    Either way good to see this franchise getting more exposure.

    Good to see more exposure indeed. The group photo showed a nice Argonauts hat that Wilder was wearing. I'd like one myself.

    Anyone see the clip of Drake chirping the Rockets player on the sidelines in the dying seconds of yesterday’s game?
    IMO the guy is a little much.

    Leafs one was current wasn't it?
    Leafs logo = retro, but very similar to current logo introduced 2016
    TFC = current and only logo in history
    Raptors = retro logo, original team logo
    Blue Jays = current logo
    Argonauts = retro, introduced 1995

    There doesn’t seem to be any reason for the logos chosen. A possible explanation could be Drake’s favourites when shown the options.

    Makes no difference to me. I'm just happy the Argos were a part of it. Any exposure of that kind can only be seen as a positive.

    That's been a big part of the NBA for years and likely a if reason why it's so popular. Spike Lee and Reggie Miller made it a thing.

    In little ol' Stratford ever since last year's EF, the Argo content on the streets is becoming more and more common place. The amount of people wearing the gear all attended either the EF or the Grey Cup.
