I guess I'll pick up some new gear when the Adidas stock goes on clearance!

Interesting to see who they go with next year. Are there any Canadian firms that could be a fit? Roots perhaps if they want to venture out?

The safe choice is Nike. The questionable choice is Under Armour(Ownership overextended brand globally in the last few years - might be due for a sale of company).Wild card is Puma.Puma's ownership has been operating under the radar and appears to making a strategic plan to grow market share in North America.Flagship stores in NYC and LA planned.I am sure Toronto(possibly Vancouver,Montreal) would be in their sights as well. They look like they will be the new "IT" brand for next few years. The league had Puma as a supplier in the mid 80's and in the late 90's to 2001.The league split the rights between Reebok and Puma for a few years.Reebok would take over completely afteward. I hope who ever they go with will treat it as a relationship and not a hassle. That means dedicated Advertising campaigns with CFL players.Social media work etc..

The Alouettes are going with a new logo this off season so it makes sense to refresh the uniforms. We might just get the Boat Logo Helmet next year.

I am wagering that either Fruit of the Loom or Stanfields get the CFL apparel contract next season.

Personally think it'll be Joe Fresh or be the revival of a brand called, Ravens - makers of high quality CFL fan jerseys in the 80's-90's.

I was going to make a skid mark joke, but good thing I changed my mind.

I wouldn't be surprised to see New Era or New Balance either. I've heard rumours about New Era maybe being involved in 2019 (I didn't even know they made jerseys). In a way; I'm kind of hoping for Under Armour.

If it's New Era, there should be an awesome selection of Argos hats accompanying the jerseys.

It depends on which company decides to put their sponsorship dollars with the CFL. The CFL didn't pull Adidas. it was Adidas that decided not to be a CFL sponsor.
The new sponsor will provide jerseys to all teams and teams must sell their CFL merchandise. Since Nike is already making NFL jerseys it may be Nike.

I find this whole jersey/merchandise scenario quite fascinating.

I wonder why Adidas decided that the CFL is not worthy of their efforts - seemingly on a profit basis(?).

The competition for merchandise sponsorship is fairly strong among the major brands mentioned in this thread (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour).
I know that they compete strongly for NCAA teams sponsorship, even though any profit potential is quite limited.
One cannot buy, as an example, the colourful and seemingly preferred orange jerseys for the Syracuse Orange football team. Nike has advised that Syracuse football is not a top tier market and therefore will not produce those jerseys for sale to the public. Granted, Nike probably wants to capture the market for Syracuse basketball jersey sales.
Furthermore, how much profit can there be for sponsorship of NCAA Group of 5 conference teams like Buffalo, Middle Tennessee, Marshall, etc.?

Yet the CFL is dropped as being unprofitable?
    Something weird there imo.
