I think you mean didn't Messam play for BC?
Yes, he did. However, Wally Buono traded Messam for only a fifth round pick after many problems, including punching and breaking teammate Paris Jackson's jaw, caused the Lions' veteran leaders to ask Buono to get rid of him. But the problems didn't end there as the following article and voyeurism charges indicate.
https://vancouversun.com/sports/foot...earn-to-fit-inThe issue with Jerome Messam was never talent, because everyone from Wally Buono to Jim Popp to could see Messam was blessed with supernatural gifts.
But he was also blessed with a talent for self-destruction, casting light on why he played for six different organizations in five years. ...
The first sign of trouble occurred with the Lions in 2011 when, owing to a training camp indiscretion, some of the team’s veterans advised Buono that Messam was a problem. He was summarily traded to Edmonton for a fifth-round pick where he immediately won the Most Outstanding Canadian that year before the Eskimos traded him to Montreal for a sixth-round pick after a failed NFL tryout. The Als released him just before the 2014 season when he landed in Saskatchewan, who promptly traded him to Calgary at the CFL trade deadline last year.
u care to paint 3 million torontonians with the same brush ?
lol
argos NEED to establish themselves as a dynasty to be taken more seriously by fans
[yes there are forces * cough * rogers * cough * take would like to see argos gone from toronto]
there is NO excuse to miss playoffs in east conf
argos need to make playoffs and have berths in gc for 5 yrs in a row to get fanbase back
That won't make much of a difference.
And if that type of on-field success is required for any team (in any league) to be successful in their market - then you may as well pack up and move now.
First - it's not an easy task to accomplish... and secondly, that type of fanbase will bail the minute the teams stinks again.
Why is this thread even still open? The majority of recent posts (by the same poster) are so ridiculous, and have nothing to do with the end zones. I'd say move those posts, but you would need to create a separate thread in which all stupid posts get moved to.
It's us vs the rest of the country
The posts aren't the problem anyway. It's the fact that MLSE is too cheap to extend the end zones by another three yards each.
Radically Canadian!

You do not have reading comprehension problems, RJ. There is no possible interpretation of "Argos need to have ... berths in GC 5 years in a row" other than the one we both had. Yeesh, why do we bother?

Yes, I wasn't referring to the Argos making the playoffs 5 years in a row... that's not difficult... but was referring to the comment that they have to make the Grey Cup 5 years in a row.
"argos need to make playoffs and have berths in gc for 5 yrs in a row to get fanbase back"
What does "have berths in gc for 5 yrs in a row" mean other than playing in the Grey Cup game 5 years in a row? I would love to hear your explanation for that.
BC coverage on that play had one player face down in the end zone.
Definitely turf. On review he transitioned poorly and went face down on the goal line due to the change from grass to turf.
That turf is a disgrace to the CFL!

For the time being, it’s our equivalent to Boston’s Green Monster. Not much can be done and I certainly won’t complain about the result. Was it a coincidence that the play called had the DB turn on the goal line? 狼狼
