I thought Archer did a good job last game with shutting down the Bomber run game. Cut down the mistakes on offence, tackle a bit better on defence and the Argos should defeat Ottawa.

Defence was not the problem last game. 7 turnovers, and a gift TD on 2 absolutely brutal roughing calls did the trick.

I watched the first Winnipeg TD drive on YouTube this morning (power outage in Stratford just before Friday's game)...I don't beat up on the refs, but those were really really costly and calls that were not warranted. Look for Harris to break under the pressure of completing against his old UFL teammate MBT Thursday night.

And how did Martese Jackson not get credit for a rushing TD late in the game?????

Archer is not on the field playing on the defensive line. Argos do blitz...but it always seems to get picked up. How did Andrew Harris do on the ground?

stoppin harris at the expense of giving up 40+ pts in a lopsided loss is considered 'success" ?
in my world a 'win' can be considered as 'team success' [not a lopsided loss]

Sorry, but i'd bet on Ottawa here; unless the Argo defence makes big changes, + Bethel-Thompson has a good game - and i wouldn't count on either of those happening.

I agree, gil. Archer made good adjustments last week. There were a lot of reasons for that loss but I really don't think Archer was one of them.

how did that 'peg guy come up the middle without being touched ? the blocked was blocked be fore was able to even get a foot on it!

as for penalties being called - dont get me started - refs are far too 'flag happy' especially calling defensive pass interference - and i think it would help to have 2 more officials in defensive backfield as cdn field is so much bigger

I agree, gil. Archer made good adjustments last week. There were a lot of reasons for that loss but I really don't think Archer was one of them.

archer had 2 games in a row against the exact same team
lopsided scores do not bode well for him - or maybe lopsided score is the norm now
archer wasnt good
again let marcus ball [one of the few guy to play hard] call defenses on the field - let archer watch
more blitzes and more man2man defence
be aggressive !
