Since no one has started an Argo thread for this week, I will. Here's the Argo game roster.

Yeaaaa local sports team!
No Troy Davis, no Ronnie P, 2 import Tackles, Carter could very well played his last game in Double Blue....Jimmy Ralph returns...I got nothing else other than let's get this season over with.
Get SJ his 1,000 yards...
There's a little star beside the Campbell at RT, so that must be William. Thought maybe Jamal would get some game time. I was hoping to see Winbush at DE and Carrington at WR. Also looks like Lively and McCluster are out as well. Good to see Ralph back. He knows how to get open. Does anyone think Prukop is ever going to see some game action, if he doesn't know some of the offense after three years I don't know.... Maybe they should take a look at him as a Safety as he likes to hit people on special teams.
Prukop has been with the team for 2 years not 3. He may or may not have a handle on the offense, but Trestman isn't known for developing young QB's, although it seems when one fits his mold like Thompson he will. Prukop is a pure athletic scrambler - not a Trestman guy. Calvillo the QB Coach hasn't had good success as a coach either.
If Montreal beats Hamilton on Saturday we're guaranteed last place, since we lost the season series against the Als. And everyone else, with the possible exception of Ottawa...
With first place locked up, Trevor Harris will sit the game out. Dominique Davis will start the first half and Danny Collins will play in the second half. Made is listed as the starting RB so it looks like Powell will also be rested. Here's the Redblacks' depth chart.

If Dominique Davis lights up the Argo defense we will really be in trouble going forward with this group. I expect a lot of no shows in Ottawa tonight. I have relatives there and they aren't going.
This should be classed as a guaranteed win night for the Argos. I don't think we had any of those gimmicks across the League this year. How about if Argos win every ST holder gets a free ticket to next year pre-season game. Venue TBD.

The Argos are facing Ottawa's B team, would be sad for the Argos to lose. I'd love to see Prukop get the second half, but with Trestman around I won't hold my breath.
It must be a tad frustrating for CFL teams trying to sign import players that have been released by NFL teams each fall. You finally get one you've been tracking and then boom, the NFL wants them back for an injury replacement etc.
Last year it was RB Trey Williams 5'7 195 who just nicely got into camp and Dallas came calling. He would have made some money as I see he got into 2 games plus 4 on the PR last year. Was on the IR this year until September 9th, released again with an injury settlement.
This year it's RE Anthony Winbush 6'1 240 getting recalled to work out with Green Bay. Both these guys are a bit undersized for full time employment in the NFL and could probably make a nice career in the CFL. But you can't blame them wanting to see if they can make some big money back home. That minimum salary of $3,000 Canadian a game looks pretty small compared to $25,000 a game in US dollars.
I;d like to see Evan Foster finally get a shot to play some DE - for a high draft pick, see what he can do; he is an athletic tester and was a very solid DE in college ball; if he were to pan out, and with Walker and Finley (can be a rotation guy at both DE & DT) available at DE, plus the prospect of drafting a top notch DE (Betts please) in next year's draft - they could look at using a NI spot at DE full-time (and going all imports there this season did not pan-out at all - more like mediocre to pi$$-poor). Add in Laing/Gaydosh at a DT spot, plus Gabriel (at safety or OLB where i believe he could excel) and maybe Woodson as starters = potential 4 solid starting Canadian spots on defence.
It's early (5 minutes into the game) but so far the Argos are looking as listless as last week.
.
Yes, clap your hands in anger, Kanneh. Your inability to tackle gives Ottawa another 6 or 7 yards.
