It is always good to put a positive spin on things but missing a payroll regardless of reasons given, could well be a harbinger of things to come

The AAF was supposedly all funded for the 3 years they proposed. I'd wish I knew where the money went or how much they really had. With no money coming from TV and little at the gate, I would guess management took their cuts and no money was left for the players. $250 million pays for the next three years of player salaries with hopefully enough for front office and operational costs.
So, the AAF almost folds. Then, almost immediately Wynn, Sinkfield and Evans, all CFL free agents sign up. Solid, well thought out career moves.
It's us vs the rest of the country
If the league folds after the season ends in April, I suppose they can come back to the CFL in time for camp!
True. Who knows the real conditions of the contract. Bailout, sale, and I’ve read that some still claim payroll was a glitch and the $250 million was planned. Businessmen don’t give 250m away for nothing. The CFL has been looking for guys like this for years! I wonder his angle? He essentially owns the whole league now.
And BOOM goes the dynamite, looks like the AAF is dead already
