    Alexandre Gagnon

    Argos signed him in December.

    6'7", 231 lbs DL

A height to weight ratio I don't think we see too often.

    Anyone know anything about him?

I believe he was in Calgary's camp last year. Sounds long and lean. Maybe if the Argos do land Saxelid, he can show Gagnon how to add 30 40 pounds. I find it all not very difficult myself.

A 6th rounder who Calgary cut in camp last year. Not very exciting, but at least he's not Faith Ekakitie. ;)

(P.S. I *really* hope we don't pull a Winnipeg in this year's draft)

10 sacks over his last 2 seasons playing at Sherby against some pretty good competition (Laval & Montreal included) = very good production.

Gotta like a real tall DE with the wingspan to knock-down passes or get in the QB's face.

Wouldn't bet on him making the roster, but would be nice to see him, Walker, Foster and Biewald all get real shots to compete at DE - a much needed area for the Argos to upgrade. Hopefully Chamblin will see the benefit of rotation on the D-line and not be afraid to give a Canadian DE a chance at some playing time there.
