CFL Board of Governors Reportedly Approve Sale of Alouettes to Vince Guzzo Group

According to TSN's Tony Marinaro, the CFL Board of Governors have approved the sale of the Alouettes to a Vince Guzzo led group.

Guzzo is the president and CEO of Cinemas Guzzo, the largest movie operator in Quebec with 10 locations. The 49-year-old is also the CEO for Groupe Guzzo, a construction company, Guzzo Hospitality and Guzzo Medical Services. He has been on the CBC show Dragon’s Den as an investor since September, 2018.

I'm sure Marinaro didn't just pull this out of his ass, and I bet the deal will be done with Guzzo sooner rather than later.

According to CBC Radio reporter Michel Chabot, Vince Guzzo has put his offer to buy the Als on hold because of a conflict with a person at the heart of the discussions whose name he would not reveal.
