One of my favourite territories was Sandor Kovac's All Star in Vancouver which was shown across the CTV Network. It was so bad it was good. My brother used to call it "Gramps Wrestling" because most of the wrestlers looked about 70 years old (I suppose everybody does when you're a kid). Old timer Ron Morrier hosted the show and his hilarious "interviews" with Canada's Greatest Athlete Gene Kiniski were always a highlight. I don't know why but I developed a real affection for perennial curtain raiser Jack Bence, he looked about one hundred, never won, but I liked him.

Edit: Actually not a bad crew here:

Aug 24, 1970 - Kovacs; Kerrisdale Arena; Vancouver
