    My bet is the appeal doesn't get heard until some time next week. If an appeal for a Grey Cup game (Jonathan Rose) doesn't get heard in time to implement for the next game, I highly doubt an appeal this early in the season will.

    Speaking of small receivers, the Argos had a couple of mighty mites in Michael Palmer and Andre Talbot not so long ago. Both were very athletic but neither was over 5-9 and 180 Ibs.

    To be clear, at least from what I have read and heard, the CFLPA approached Simoni and chose to appeal, not Simoni asking them to appeal on his behalf. I don't know if a player has the ability to demand that the CFLPA not appeal?

    Lawrence and Breaux were both appropriately sanctioned for crimes committed last week but will play on Saturday. If I was coordinating, I'd aim lots of plays at both of them and repeatedly make them choose between playing cautiously or drawing flags.

    i guess but then there would be reliance on the officials to make the calls. more probable at BMO Field than at THF on labour day (my own thoughts) but still - I think we have sufficient firepower to beat them. Nothing is more enjoyable than the ride home on the lakeshore west line after a W over the ticats at BMO Field. nice and quiet !!
