I think MBT is one of those guys who digests a pro playbook quickly, says all the right things in meetings, and does all the right things in practice, which is why he's been in so many pro camps. But in games, he's just a guy, and definitely not the difference-maker you need on a team with our issues.
Though it's a minor miracle his TD-INT ratio isn't worse than 7-9.
Jonathan Dowling takes a totally unnecessary penalty giving the Bombers good field position and an opening FG. Why does this sound familiar?
Credit to the best RB in the CFL on Andrew Harris's 56 yard TD run thanks to his speed but once again the Argos failed near the line of scrimmage to cover him.
The Argos can't even tackle for a single on the missed FG. When will the Argos score?
Surely there is a guy somewhere out there, in Mexico or Finland, the U.S. or France or anywhere else Randy Ambrosie has a deal that can kick a bloody field goal.
I'm very concerned that Collaros is going to get a concussion just by watching this game...
Credit to the Argos for not giving up and to Rodney Smith, who often falls to the ground after a catch, for fighting his way into the end zone. If the Argos are going to win, they have to contain Andrew Harris, who has 107 yards rushing and 31 yards receiving at halftime, in the second half.
I've been quiet all year so far but now the team is getting under my skin....
So frustrating to see another great play wrecked by a penalty on Burk's pass and run. But at least the Argos are not giving up.
Chamblin needs to grow a set!!! And start going for some of these 3rd and 1's.
MBT saving grace is that he does not get frustrated and does not give helping him lead the team to a FG, but he sure frustrates Argo fans. He overthrew a wide open receiver for a TD in the first half and was lucky to get a FG after a poor throw that the Bombers almost intercepted.
Chamblin is on a roll with his challenges.
I think the penalty to Bishop, which he technically deserved, actually fired up the Argos and they are playing at a higher level, but they have to avoid taking dumb penalties.
Tied after 3 quarters. When was the last time that happened?
