    Good crowd in Edmonton tonight (Aug. 23)

    More than 34K and I believe the best crowd of the season in the league.

    I don't think there's any doubt that starting the season earlier was a mistake.

    So a Friday night game in the Summer had a big crowd. That's great but what does it have to do with starting the season earlier?

    You answered your own question when you said in summer. Not spring. The league already plays every single weekend in the summer. No coincidence that it took until a week before Labour Day to finally get a big crowd.
