Really??? Tell that to the 18,000 that filled ScotiaBank Arena to see a pre-season hockey game.

On a positive note these games are a great night out with my son with the added bonus of catching up with you guys at the game!
    See you next week
I agree, the season has been woeful, but like you, I enjoy every game because I get to see my son as well, and some friends who are also STH's. We always have a blast regardless...

    I'm mad bro.

Couldn't agree more... you don't have enough faith in your offense to punch it in from 2 yds out, but are willing to go for it when you need to make 5 yds.... and then give the best QB in the league half a field to work with. We were lucky that Calgary only got a field goal. And as others have posted, but for a few dropped balls by Calgary's receivers, this game might have been a blowout.

But at least they did keep fighting until the very end... and Bear Woods was awesome again. I really love that guy.

That was not the time to gamble. Punt the Stamps deep and win the ball back. The same strategy could be used if they fail from going for it on the 2. I think you reverse those two stupid calls and they are walking away with at least 6 points, with high possibilities of 10 and a chance at 14. But no, we settle for swapping FG and come away with a net of 0.

On the bright side, the rest of the schedule looks like it will produce some wins.......I hope.

    Back to respectability.

Sorry, but that would be a total joke of CFL GOB redux; Tillspin is as clueless as it gets; LaPo knows only same old (in terms of play-book and roster thinking).

How bout some fresh football thinkers instead of standard GOBs; guess there are just none out there.

I actually think LaPo’s system is pretty creative compared with most CFL offences.

Agreed, but its by default mostly. All CFL teams run the same basic, predictable offence now; LaPolice just throws in a bit more creativity or some different wrinkles compared to other teams.

For the most part the offences do look the same for most teams.
Makes me laugh when teams try to pass their offence off as being “very complex”, Kent Austin and the Ticats were masters of spewing that type of nonsense.

Having a father that lives in what I consider the last true area of Cottages, not Gen X second homes, I would say due to their older fan base, the Argos are the only team that can use that excuse. Impact is minimal though and soon will be extinct.

yeah that game had depressing elements to it:

    - attendance #s (I don't really get too down about these things but that number was bad, yikes)
    - coaching decisions - all over the map, no need to re-hash out.

however there weregood elements (maybe more)
    - love seeing Bear Woods out there again - pains me that they thought the team was better without him before. I'll be kind and say it's likely salary cap related.
    - the beer lines were short.

I mean i wasn't crazy enough to expect a W, and the score flatters them a bit. But aside from that, the Argos weren't really in this game. Eric Rogers catches a few balls that are in his hands and this gets ugly fast.

Ah well - onto the next one.

Creativity, fun to watch what a concept for us the fans while keeping the defences on their heels.
