The Lions only got a FG on their opening drive but ate up more than six minutes on the clock. If the Argos do there usual two and out a lot, the defence could soon be worn out.

And if the Argos are intercepted that could happen a lot faster.

My goodness, it is so hard to be an Argos fan right now. But we persist.

I'm close to calling it quits for the season. This team is pathetic and it will be difficult to attract quality players next season.

Glen Suitor just said that might have been the worst quarter of CFL football that he's ever seen. I can't disagree, this team is a joke.

16 pathetic yards of offense in the first quarter.
Suitor just said on the telecast that's the worst first quarter for a pro team that he can remember ever seeing.
    What an embarrassment.
The coaches should all be fired at the end of this game and forced to find their own way home.

It was quits when they lost to Montreal. Anyone who believed otherwise because of “mathematical chances” were fooling themselves.

Same GM and Coach next season, yes your right. New ones, you can attract anyone, especially with money. This team can be 9-9 easily next season with a decent QB, improved line and coach.

    No chance.
A complete enema from GM down to the last player is needed.

I mean quit wasting my time watching this joke of a team. Getting close to checking out for the season and just watching the Grey Cup.

If it’s the same old, I agree. I still say this is a great opportunity to see Prukop and even O’Conner. It would at least be interesting to see what they got there.

Brutal ; pathetic - up there with some all-time pi$$ poor Argo teams. But hey, why not keep trotting out the same old offence with Franklin at QB - no need to audition guys for the future - this was a big shot to keep play-off hopes alive after all - LOL

Wonder if this genius brain-trust Argo leadership will make some real changes for next season - Popp & Chamblin have no business being given any sort of chance again IMO. Laughable that some had some faith that this corporate, know-nothing about football ownership could do something positive. Little hope for the Argo future with these clowns in charge. Gotta keep promoting their ultra minor league soccer team though.

I think Argos fans want to see some kind of improvement and hope for next year. The team usually stinks in B.C. Seeing as the season is lost and it took forever to name a starter this week, the team was underprepared and hence giving under the effort. Signs of bad coaching, but we already knew that.
