This Friday night! No disrespect to Ottawa starting qb Wil Arndt...Argos must be able to swarm him all night.

guaranteeing a win for the 2019 Argonauts? bold play. Although it feels likely, who knows. I'm more likely to guarantee there are little to no lines up at the beer stand.
A win on country night? I dunno...
well weather is supposed to be ok. Argos country hat, some fall football and a couple beers? things could be worse.
always looking for the bright side of things.
on the other side - I wonder what sort of personnel we will be trotting out there - is it full-out player evaluation time (aka the equivalent of pre-season ball)? Both teams essentially just playing out the schedule at this point.
Email from the team said that the first 7,000 fans get a cowboy hat. Sadly, I don't think there is any need to rush to get to the stadium early. But I hope I am wrong and more fans turn out. It will be interesting to see how the team responds to everything that has happened this week.
GO ARGOS!
Hank ilisec and Paul Clatney signing autographs at the Shipyard as well.
Bethel-Thompson is starting at QB.
I really think they need to get Prukop a start before end of year.
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
Fair enough, considering the short week plus management upheaval.
For the final three games I hope we either activate some receivers and backs (and maybe OL?) from the PR and let MBT work with them, or start Prukop/O'Connor and let him work with our best supporting cast.

The Argos will have to invoke God's help if they can't beat Ottawa and Will Arndt. Oh! Wait a moment, Leo Cahill once talked about God's intervention and I don't remember it working out so well.
I have two tickets (my season seats) available for tonight's game if anyone wants them. I am heading out of town and I had people lined up to use the tickets but something came up for them as well.
So are we rooting for Tank Nation from here on out?
Much as I'd like the No. 1 pick, I'd rather see the young players learn a bit about winning, and establishing a winning culture. The worst we can do is second pick which as history has shown is seldom worse (and sometimes better) than first pick. So I'm pulling for four wins to end the season (but expecting two at most).

Picking first gives you the most options to pick or trade down, but there is rarely if ever a generational type player in the CFL draft, and if there is he's starting his pro career in the NFL.
Plus, cheering for your team to lose is for losers.
