Game Thread: Calgary at Winnipeg, Friday October 25th
With Chris Streveler on the limp, Zach Collaros will start at QB. Two questions arise about Collaros: does he fully know the Bomber play book and can he play without being concussed? On the other hand, he provides a better arm than Streveler for Winnipeg, but probably is under orders not to run unless absolutely necessary because of his injury history and a lack of a decent backup with Streveler and Nichols injured. From Calgary's perspective, Bo Levi Mitchell has been hot since returning from injury, winning six of seven games and passing for over 330 yards in four of his last five games. So I'm picking the Stampeders.

Zach showed he's back in full form in leading the Bombers to a 29-28 win, taking the team down the field to kick a winning FG with 3 seconds left and run out the clock, while throwing a Flutiesque pass to Darvin for a TD earlier.

He looked great tonight! Still don't know if I'd risk counting on him as the main guy again but with MBT as a backup, it could definitely work.

Idk how high Winnipeg is on Nichols but they might want to keep Zachary and let Nichols walk. But O’Shea’s future may also play a part in that.
