Playoff Game Thread: Winnipeg at Calgary, Sunday November 10th

Bo Levi Mitchell has been hot since his return, passing for at least 330 yards of five of his seven games since coming back, although he wasn't as sharp against BC on the weekend. Collaros has provided a spark in his only game with the Bombers, so I think it will be a hard fought game, but I'll give a slight edge to Calgary.

Close first half, Collaros is doing OK, Bo is gun-slinging and gambling as per usual.
The pick he threw at the Bombers 10 yard line may come back to haunt Bo. However
Bo usually shrugs off his picks...we shall see

Stamps had no answer for the Collaros/Streveler (limp and all) with Andrew Harris often acting as a decoy on Streveler's runs. Bo had one of his worse games ever.

Best part of this result is the Stamps are NOT going to the Cup again. Overdue for a different West team.
Agreed one of Bo's worst performances in some time.

So 2018 Eskimos host the Cup but miss the playoffs.
Now 2019 and the Stamps host the Cup and don't get there, after being there three straight times (and 4 out of last 5)
Makes us Argo fans even more thankful for our 2012 "host-and-hoist" experience of GC-100.

Second best part of this is the Collaros story. With what he has been through, well deserved ZC.
Best of luck to ZC and to O'Shea next week.
You will have my support to beat Cody and the Riders next week.

This was one of the best games involving a 2 QB system since the 70's, when Barton & Theismann did it for us in what 1971.
Paul Lapolice is a genius as the OC in the way he used Collaros for the pass and Streveller to run.
I cannot remember the last time on the same team that one QB lead in the passing and the other in running.
I would definitely make a run for Lapo as our HC instead of O'Shea.
He is a visionary, has his QB's playing exciting and systems within their capabilities.

That mighty Lapo Bummers offence put up all of 6 points in the first half (2 FGs); let`s not get too carried away calling this guy a genius; kudos for their O for mixing it up and having the guts to deploy 2 different style QBs (long pass from Collaros to Adams was a dagger to the Stamps), but it was more Bo & the Stamps offence $ucking big-time (or the Bombers D playing real well) in the 2nd half that cost them the win than any type of offensive brilliance out of LaPolice.

Be interesting to see how the Bombers offence fares against the Riders defence next game - maybe Lapo will prove to be a real genius. ;o)
