With Adjei, Jones, Brescacin, Noel and Gittens (as well as Cross and Cibasu) it seems increasingly likely that we will go with three (not my previous prediction of two) NAT backs and receivers. Add one NAT LB, one DB, one DL and one OL and we'd have the seven we need. Or with Blake coming here, we might be able to go with two on the o-line. And two in the secondary is also possible, assuming we have all three vets (Gabriel, Boateng and Woodson) available.

I view him more as a back-up and spot starter. Still, you need guys like that.

I'm pleased to see so many changes. Had we been able to retain a few key guys to ease the transition I might have been even happier, but when you have a 4-14 team with a new coaching staff, blowing it up isn't a bad idea.

Signing 27 year old Canadian WR/KR TJ Jones who had 852 receiving yards and 581 yards in returns during five years in the NFL with the Giants and Lions, which is a lot more than many of the former NFLers who come north, could be a big plus for the Argos.

So who are the top 7 or 8 Canadian starters heading into training camp now? Starting to look like the defense will be mostly American, with only LB Lokombo and DHB Woodson starters there. On Offense Canadian starters should be G Bladek, C Blake, RT Campbell, Rec Brescacin, Rec TJ Jones, FB Cibasu or Rec Adjey.
FB Cross, SB Noel, Rec Gittens, DE Rob Smith, CB Boateng, LB Kwemo will probably see action rotating in also. Then they have to find 3 Naturalized Americans to fill in as well.
A good kicker needed for sure. A Global player would work well there for the roster's sake if they could find one.
I'm still a little worried about the offensive line unless more veteran help is still coming. I don't see a lock down LT there. Blake was a good centre at Baylor and can play most positions on the line but he's getting up there. I don't think Bladek ever really took over a starting guard spot with the Riders and RT Campbell is still developing.

Amen brother. When you are virtually eliminated from the playoff by Labour Day BIG changes need to be made.

I couldn't be happier for Dakota Prukop. He'll now get top notch coaching via the best run Football ops in the League.

Daniels, Brescacin & TJ Jones = potentially 3 starting receivers right there; and i guess the expensive D. Walker will be moving on elsewhere ?

O-line re-build with a vet (Blake) and a younger guy with some experience (Bladek) = decent start there maybe.

Not sure where Shorthill fits in with all the existing NI LBs, but he is good on STs and on D too.

I guess Marc Mueller has a higher opinion of Prukop than Dinwiddie does.

He is a very strong special teamer and a guy who can more than hold his own at LB if needed. A move that won't jump out at a lot of fans, but a very smart signing.
