Despite Noel having an up and down career, I think he still has the potential to develop into a fine receiver.
At 34 when TC starts, Thigpen is not what he used to be but his versatility should help the team.
Love to have seen Jefferson sign with the Argos but I always felt that was unlikely.
At 27 and relatively little experience in football I question whether Kolton Nelson is likely to make it.
https://www.argonauts.ca/2020/02/10/...higpen-nelson/Nelson, 6’1 and 205-pounds, played rugby at Lindenwood University in Missouri for four years before becoming a pro rugby player for the Eastern Suburbs Union Football Club in Australia. The 27-year old was born in Edmonton but went to high school in Bixby, Oklahoma here he played on both sides of the ball in football. Nelson is the son of current Argos special teams coordinator Mark Nelson and brother of San Francisco 49ers long snapper Kyle Nelson.
SJ Green has signed with XFL but could return to CFL later this year.
After SJ Green's deal with the #XFL is over on May 31, hearing Green will consider his #CFL options. The three-time Grey Cup Champ is not closing the door on returning to the CFL.

Longtime 10K yard #CFL receiver SJ Green will sign with the XFL today. Green signs deal with XFL primary ownernship group and will enter the league waiver wire where his rights will be picked-up by a team at the top of the wire. SJ Green's deal will run through May 31 2020 #XFL

\ The Bummers could still sign the likes of Franklin, Pipkin or Prukop to compete for back-up QB; they could also think of drafting either of Rourke or Sinagra or local Bisons product Catellier (not sure Walters has any use for a Canadian QB though?)
Like that they have been able to sign some key vets like Collaros, Jefferson, Adams = to go for a repeat / back to back GC shot; be interstin' to see their offence with LaPo gone - could still have a powerful run game, with Harris + Augustine & Oliveira + Demski = that could really help keep the heat of Collaros = that would be smart, but not a sure thing with standard CFL offence a possibility.
Looks like Lang is on his way out of Argo land.

A 4-win team, just got worse. Bad start when you lose players that you cannot immediately replace. In Pinball we trust, but at this time, Toronto seems to have become the last stop in the CFL. It may take some miracle work to make this place an attractive place to play in again.
Hustle hit and never quit
The only replacements that would be decent or Canadian DL are:
1. Fabion Foote (Mtl)
2. Junior Turner (Cal)
3. Junior Luke (BC)
4. Ese Mrabure (Cal)
For Canadian OL (Centers) is really thin right now, the ones that would be viable are:
1. Dariusz Bladek (Sask)
2. Philip Blake (Sask)
3. Jean-Simon Roy (BC)
Wasn’t that long ago Toronto was winning over free agents due to NFL connections, winning, etc. The stability of Ottawa and Hamilton in the last decade has really changed things for Ontario resident players. The fact that most CFL players don’t make enough money to live in Toronto Proper is a problem too. Then again, Regina and Winnipeg are holes that I wouldn’t live in either.
DB Jonathon Mincy who played one game for the Argos last year after returning from the NFL has signed with Edmonton.
Justin Dunk is reporting that James Franklin has signed with the Riders, so the team has two former Argo QBs.
Lang heading to Ottawa
Jeff Hamilton is reporting that the Argos are leading in the effort to sign WR Davaris Daniels.

Disappointing to lose Laing and McEwen. Good Canadians still in their prime. But time to move on. Looks like they are going with more Canadian receivers which will allow American DT's.
Potential big signing... Canadian WR Juwan Brescacin coming to Toronto
