Word is that the Argonauts have requested to have the majority of their home games in Summer next season.

It would be one thing if they were taking away a Thursday night game but we all know that it's going to be another Prime Weekend Summer Game. Probably an afternoon game. Most likely yet another Touchdown Atlantic Game.

Your concerns are valid and I appreciate your enthusiasm but this is for the benefit of growing the CFL's identity in Atlantic Canada.

Argonauts fans have already gone above and beyond in giving up home games. It's time for other teams to step up..

Hamilton is reaching attendance goals with an eye towards Grey Cup hosting duties in 2021. No!
Ottawa is a real estate play. No!
Montreal is currently owned by the league with a potential sale for next year in a damaged market. No!

I thought that the mighty MLSE had a long term plan for turning the Argonauts around? They seem a little to interested in minimizing their short term losses than doing what they know is best for the Argonauts and their fans.

The Argos are a loss leader to MLSE.TSN locked up the media rights till 2026 at a bargain price.They have achieved cost certainty which will allow them to concentrate on other properties.

I got my 2020 seasons now. First-time having seasons in any sport. I'm in section 225, but would consider moving in the future.

Complain about the move to BMO Field? I've said numerous times that overall BMO Field is better than the Rogers Centre. MBT isn't a starter in the CFL IMO, I know that offends your delicate sensibilities but you're going to have to try to stop being so intolerant and learn that not everyone has the same opinions that you do.

Like I said we're all well aware that MLSE can do no wrong in your eyes. Hopefully you'll be able to clean that brown off of your nose.

People who currently have seats on the east side will be able to renew, or add seats. The goal is to, as you mention, create more of an "Argos family" atmosphere on the west side with more members sitting there. We also want to focus our group sales on the east side.

I bought my 4 seats again the other day. Cannot complain about anything... cannot go to anything for this price. This team is the best deal around. Hopefully we can be at least 9-9 this year.

You're a hypocrite plain and simple. You look at things from your personal perspective all the time and expect everyone to agree with you. Call me a fan boy for the Argos all you want, but at least I get why they are doing what they are doing, and don't let my personal feeling get involved. Of course I hate losing a home game, but I also understand the team least likely to sell tickets is going to be the one to lose it. It's common sense.

Hopefully this year the Argos will be playing meaningful games in November, bring a light windbreaker and enjoy👍

I think Hoagie explained it quite well. The people who have seats on that side of the field can renew their previous seats and add new seats still on the east side. The team also plans on using that side exclusively for group sales. Hopefully this will work out for the better and we will see that side more full than in previous years.

I haven't heard anything lately from Randy on an off site game, but we know one of the Argo home games is going somewhere. I believe Germany was mentioned as a possible site as they did draw quite well when NFLE was over there. Probably Mexico first though.

Toronto wasn't the only team where regular season attendance dropped in October and November.
