Character players stick around when times are tough. JWJ has been replaced.

Agreed, Wilder has weeded himself out of the picture. Upward and onward with positivity and patience!

I agree. I do like JWJ, but when a player asks for his release, you don't bring him back.

Yep, he's done. For many reasons IMO, not just the request for a release and badmouthing the coaches.

He has been an aggravation. Move on there are so many good running backs out there.

It's unfortunate since he was a good ambassador for the team but he seems to have a bit of an ego.

    I wouldn't bring Wilder back.
Why wouldn't he wait until he was certain that there was or wasn't going to be a coaching change.

I really think he has no desire to return. I'm sure he's thinking XFL would be great for his would be career in sports entertainment.

I believe that was the plan and still may very well be. Problem is, the XFL isn’t offering the salaries originally presented and I suspect Wilder is kicking tires elsewhere as a result.

He’s mentioned on Twitter that the XFL window has closed? He also mentioned that he has decisions to be made in the next few days.

He is a self absorbed TOOL, who has treated the Argo's like crap. (1 partly good season.)

What goes around comes around, to J.W.Gutterfilth, enjoy your few games in the XFL, then your wrestling career that will make SD, Special Delivery Jones look like the second coming of Hulk Hogan.

JWJ was all SHOW, no substance, what a waste of talent. I'm ashamed that i once said he reminded me of Robert Drummond.

This guy is a big mouth phony, and discarding him is a GREAT step in the CULTURE change Mr Clemons is speaking of

Well I'm not going to pile on Wilder. I thought he told the truth on the Rod Peterson show about about the OC and the HC. The guy is a talented player with above average receiving ability and great at getting those yac yards. I put him up there with SJ Green for being able to make those tough catches in a crowd. I don't think the one back offense fits his running style. He would have been a great receiving TE back in the day. I can see a team like Calgary, with a QB for puts the ball where it is catchable consistently, being able to use Wilder more as a slot back with screens and over the middle passes. He could be a difference maker IMO. Probably even play some special teams. LOl

I’ll agree that Wilder could likely be more effective as a slotback.
He is no SJ Green in any respect as a receiver.
Either way time for both parties to move on.

I think Wilder can do well behind a good OL that allows him to get moving after his slow starts. He is also one of the better RBs as a receiver and he did some good community work. But enough is enough.

Wilder won't play special teams when asked but could accept being converted to slotback? I don't think so.
