No Thursday Night games. 3 Fridays and 5 Saturdays.

2 CNE games (1 Friday and 1 Saturday). Saturday July 25 vs. SK is a nuetral site game. If Touchdown Atlantic is on tap then it's Riders vs. Argos.

Though I would rather not miss a Riders visit, Hamilton is in twice this year incl. one of the CNE games.

Overall, I think this much bette than last year.

It is a great schedule. Nobody should be complaining about this. No Thursday home or away games. Only mistake by the league was scheduling a good draw in Saskatchewan as the neutral site game. Should have gone with any of the other western teams. Still not convinced the 2nd of 2 CNE games will result in a great crowd. 2 home games in 6 days is a tough sell for a team that has troubles selling tickets, but in the end, I'm good with it. I will once again be at every home game.

Really like the fact the team has 3 home games that are not 7pm kickoffs...I expect the neutral site game to be in Mexico...Chico Loco!

Because Rider fans are great travelling fans, maybe the green wave will make an impactful start for the CFL/LGA Mexico inaugural game??

Hopefully the Thanksgiving Classic becomes a regular thing. I never understood why the CFL didn't capitalize on Canadian Thanksgiving and Canada Day more!

It is a good schedule but my 4yo son will continue to have to wait until he is older to be introduced to the team with only one 1pm game (albeit on Halloween). So from his point of view, not a good one!

There are two 4PM home games too.

From a competitive standpoint, this is a darn good schedule. Most games are six, seven or eight days apart. There are only two short wks: Labour Day then at B.C. the following Saturday, and Thanksgiving Monday then at Wpg the following Saturday. The byes are nicely spaced. Playing against Ott and Ham the first two wks gives us a shot at a decent start. A bye in week 20 would be great if we are playoff-bound. Playing five of the last eight on the road is a bit tough, tho.

From a fan-interest standpoint, bravo to all the Saturday and Friday games, and the two during CNE. One tough stretch when the team will not play at home from July 5 to July 31, but with a neutral-site game and wanting to play back to back during CNE, that likely couldn't be avoided.

From a competitive standpoint, I am not thrilled with it. Argos play Labour Day and Thanksgiving Monday, followed by Saturday games both times in which their opponents will have 9 and 8 days between games to the Argos 5. Interesting that both our opponents these Monday games have bye weeks following these dates, but I guess when you want prime days of Friday and Saturday for all your home games, it comes with the territory.

I just think that there should always be CFL Games on Canada Day and Canadian Thanksgiving. It doesn't have to be the Argonauts playing though.

Afternoon game in Mexico City in July? Whew! I remember some of those Las Vegas games.

Pretty sure it will be another TD Atlantic. Saturday is a much better day for this than Sunday.

I can agree there. Both teams playing this day should get a bye the following week, and same after Labour Day, unless it is a rematch thus giving no team a huge competitive advantage.

A very good schedule overall. Would have liked to have seen back to back games against Hamilton around Labour day (with week between) in order to take advantage of the rivalry--but that is really a minor complaint.

BTW, I checked and it seems that the average daily temperature in Mexico City in July is 24C and average low temperature about 12C. Certainly more comfortable conditions when compared to Toronto.

Mexico City is about 7,300 feet about above sea level.

Don’t worry if you weren’t aware of this. The Mexicans probably thought we were playing in the snow in July too.
