Is qb Luis Perez still on the Argos list?
This QB Glass guy could be a interesting player if he has a CFL arm.
Rod Black will have a field day if Mack signs with the Argos.

I'm in the minority here, but I find it odd the bad rap Black gets as a broadcaster. Good voice, smooth delivery, good excitement.
I get it, people don't like the fact he references guys as, "The former (insert NFL/American college team here)," but there are far, far, far worse broadcasters TSN and the league could choose.
Rod Black is fine. He isn't the best but he isn't the worst either. He's basically become the Nickelback of the CFL:

Getting back to the subject. I noticed two DE's listed on the Argo neg list are not exactly rookies right out of College. Ryan Davis 6'2 260 senior year was 2011 and is now 30 years old. Has had some success in the NFL over the years. Maybe he can be another Vic Butler. Eli Harold 6'3 245 senior year was 2014 so he has had 5 years in the NFL and is a couple of years younger than Davis.
I guess we will find out if they're interested in getting a CFL paycheck for a few years.
Rod's PBP problem is that he's too much of a fanboy. Might appeal to casual fans, but not to the hardcore.
He also doesn't know enough about football. For example, he refers to draw plays as delayed draws. By definition, a draw is a delayed handoff. Cuthbert would never say something like that.
I sort of feel that if Rod Black were an NFL PBP guy that he wouldn't be as disliked (as much) as he'd get lost in the shuffle of being 1 of 16 (I assume the pool is more, but I'm just going by # of teams). He kinda has that Gus Johnson personality to him. Whereas in the CFL he's 1 of 3-4 different guys so the exposure is greater.

Black seems highly regarded within the industry, I’ve met him a couple of times in the press box at THF and can tell you he is a really nice guy to chat with.
