Top 10 Low Points of the Past Decade

Look forward to replies.....how about releasing 4 receivers the day after a demoralizing road loss in Montreal back in 2016? You don't see that every day.

Losing 55-8 to a really crappy team.

The release of Cory Boyd was huge. I remember where I was at the time of the news - inside a Harvey’s. Now, wasn’t a low point (insert Kack Attack) but it was a pretty big story. A lot of fans weren’t happy.

I remember so clearly the second game ever at BMO against the ORBs in 2016: After the excitement of the stadium opener, even with the crappy loss, I was so looking forward to "getting into" things at BMO. Walking towards the stadium having to get around all the barricades because of the Indy made me a little uneasy. But when I got to the stadium, a bit late, and realized that it was barely half full, my heart really sank. I felt like I had been truly mislead by all the positive assurances of Copeland (who I like), et al. It was clear that things were not rosy for the team in terms of ticket sales/attendance, and in fact, we were worse off than in the dome.

Throughout the game, I kept thinking to myself, "how do you go from the opener to this? Where is everybody?" All the positives from the hype, the promises, the new ownership, the positive press (including an astoundingly good article from Sportsnet on the home opener), were quickly washed away, and I knew that the franchise was in deep trouble. We have not really ever "gotten back" to where we were "supposed" to be with the new place (yes, the EF in 2017 was fantastic), but we have so much work to do. And it starts with winning consistently, something this franchise has not done all decade, really.

I second this. Attendance has been the big low point.

I believe that we were looking at the ticketmaster chart on here and coming to the sad realization that things weren't going to go as smoothly as we hoped.

On a positive note we met hot dog guy, one of the most accurate crowd predictors in BMO Field history.

I won't call the 2010 Eastern Final a disappointment, but to lose 48-17 (or whatever it was) was definitely disappointing.

The 2013 Eastern Final was definitely disappointing, it kinda set the tone for the rest of Milanovich's tenure in Toronto.

2013 Eastern Final looked ok at halftime then one team made some nice adjustments, I would agree it was largely downhill for Milanovich and the Argos after that game.

I think the Argos had the ball for something like 4 minutes in the 2nd half of that game....
